Nos formations dispensées chez nos clients sur différents types d’engins (Handling equipment, small construction machinery such as mini excavators, construction machinery, nacelles) respect the rules of safe driving drawn up around the recommendations of the CNAM. Ces formations se veulent avant toute personnalisées à l’activité de l’entreprise et aboutissent à un examen théorique et à des épreuves pratiques sur la conduite des engins. Those are 2 épreuves notées et évaluées pour bénéficier de l’autorisation obligatoire de conduite de son employeur.

The Safe Driving Aptitude Certificate (CACES) is one example of training among many to validate the theoretical knowledge and practical know-how of a driver for the safe driving of a specific category of machinery.
Recommendation of the National Health Insurance Fund, CACES is NOT MANDATORY. Its non-use does not expose the entrepreneur to a direct sanction. The latter can also provide training in the safe operation of the machines covered by the CACES by giving the driver another training course.. Only the labor inspectorate can consider that training in safe driving does not comply with the provisions of the Labor Code.
In contrast, in accordance with the articles of the Labor Code (Art.4323-55, 56,57 and 58), the driving license is a mandatory title to drive certain equipment. It is drawn up and delivered to the driver by the head of the establishment on the basis of a theoretical and practical assessment proving that the driver has the aptitude and the capacity to safely drive the equipment for which the authorization is envisaged.. This aptitude test is carried out by the occupational physician. The driver of the machine must also have knowledge of the places and instructions to be respected on the site where he operates with his machine..
Issuing a driving license without proof of evaluation of theoretical and practical training involves the civil liability of the employer, even in the absence of any accident at work.
Pension and occupational health funds (CARSAT) may pronounce an increase in the employer's contributions for accidents at work of up to 200 % of the initial contribution, even in the absence of a work accident.
Driving self-propelled mobile work equipment and lifting work equipment is reserved for workers who have received adequate training. This training is supplemented and updated whenever necessary.: Article R. 4323-55 of the labour code.
