Objectives

Content (According to the mission)

  • Prevent CMR (Carcinogens, Mutagenic or toxic to Reproduction) : removal or replacement, containment or work in closed system, storage, individual protection equipment.

     

  • Identify, assess and prioritize chemicals.

     

  • Train and inform employees to hygiene measures adapted.

     

  • Establish and enforce emergency procedures.

     

  • Control and regularly measure exposures to chemicals (atmosphere control, Bio metrology...).

     

  • The rules specific to certain dangerous chemical agents : asbestos (articles R. 4412-94 to R. 4412-148 of the Labour Code), lead and its compounds, crystalline silica to the benzene content in solvents or thinners, or chromium and its compounds contained in cements. (articles R. 4412-149 to R. 4412-164 of the Labour Code).

     

  • Master the classification and labelling of chemicals.

     

  • The obligations of evaluation, consignment, medical visit reinforced for every employee exposed to chemical risks.
